Poly has introduced new TWS headphones for business customers. Engadget was able to take a closer look at this model called Voyager Free 60+ at CES 2023. So this model actually stands out due to some special features. For example, the case comes with an integrated display. There is also a special broadcast mode.
Otherwise, the Poly Voyager Free 60+ offer what you would expect from TWS headphones these days – a charging case with Qi, touch operation on the earbuds, ANC via three microphones and, according to the manufacturer, of course very good sound. But why the display on the case? You can use it to set ANC or adjust the volume or check the battery level or switch between paired devices.
The Voyager Free 60+ can remember eight devices, two of which can be connected in parallel. Then there is the aforementioned broadcast mode. You can use the included 3.5mm to USB-C cable to connect the case to another player that doesn’t offer Bluetooth. The sound then still reaches your Poly Voyager Free 60+. Might be useful on a plane, for example.

The scope of delivery of the headphones also includes various eartips – and a bag for the headphones with a case. There’s even a choice of a USB-A or USB-C dongle for easy pairing with a smartphone or notebook. However, the Poly Voyager Free 60+ should only appeal to a niche on the market. Because with a price of 360 US dollars, which corresponds to around 340 euros, you are in the fairly high segment.
There is also the Poly Voyager Free 60 (without the Plus) as an alternative. These do without the display in the case, but are still at 299.99 US dollars – that’s the equivalent of almost 283 euros again. For Germany, no prices or a release date have been announced. In the USA, the headphones from Poly, now part of HP, will be released in March 2023.
