Live music, comedy, film dog show: The Dortmund city festival “Dortbund” invites you to the city center on May 6th and 7th with an extensive program.
There is a lot going on within the Dortmund Wallring on the weekend, May 6th and 7th: The city festival “Dortbund” is pending – under the motto “One city. Many faces.” In addition, already on Friday, May 5th, many “Dortbund”neighborhood parties.
one of the most famous faces at the city festival is certainly the Pop singer Leonywho with her song „Remedy” landed a hit. She will be performing on the stage at Friedensplatz on Saturday from 8:30 p.m.
The Music program on nine stages ranges from classical music and choral music to jazz, rock & pop to indie and hip-hop. A selection: “Dortmund Musik” music school, “Hava nice day” big band, “Vocal Crew” choir, Herwarth Böhmer and band, Westermann, the Coldplay tribute band Goldplay.live, Finn & Jonas, NiMa Lindner & band, Iuma, Jaimi Faulkner, DJ Rich Boggie, Max Gyver – and some more.
There is also unusual attractions such as silent disco, planting campaign, Europe quiz, DJ and graffiti workshop, pilgrim tour, film dog show and bike wash. The Dortmunder U offers adventure tours on Family Sunday.
“Dortbund.next door” bundles numerous neighborhood festivals, some of which take place on May 3rd and 4th. Two of many examples are the exhibition “I networked – creative in the process” in the Kreuzviertel, producer gallery 42 (Friday, March 5, from 3 p.m.) and “Urban Gardening am Burgring” for children by the housing company Dogewo21 and the neighborhood agency Mengede (May 5, 3 p.m.).
