The Ministry of Tourism formalized yesterday the launch of the fourth edition of the Incentive Program for the Presale of National Tourist Services “PreViaje 2023 Edition”, which projects a movement of one million tourists, purchases for $15,000 million and a total economic impact of $50,000 million.

This was done through Resolution 107/2023 published yesterday in the Official Gazette.

According to the Minister of Tourism, Matías Lammens, “as of today (yesterday) the providers will be able to register, and from next Wednesday they will be able to start buying and uploading their trips at previaje.gob.ar ”.

As is known, the program consists of the recognition of a credit by the State in favor of consumers equivalent to 50% of the amount of each purchase operation of tourist services that they carry out.

The program is for people over 18 years of age residing in the country, who must have a Unique Tax Identification Code (CUIT) or Unique Labor Identification Code (CUIL), and their identification is done through the My Argentina Level 3 application.

Only advance purchases made with registered tourist providers, duly invoiced and paid in full, from April 19 to 25 for services to be used from May 24 to June 30 of this year will be reached by the Pre-Travel and may generate benefits. .

Purchases of regular cabotage air transport services made directly from the service provider, without the intermediation of another company or establishment and those of regular long-distance land transport services under national jurisdiction, will be accredited by means of their corresponding travel ticket. legally issued by the provider, whose validation will be subject to confirmation by the service provider.

Those advance purchases and their respective vouchers for a total amount of less than $1,000 will not generate benefits nor will they be covered by the program.

Likewise, the minimum amount that must be credited for one or more advance purchases to access the benefit is $10,000.

Purchases of services to be rendered or developed totally or partially outside the national territory are also not included in the Pre-trip, nor when it comes to accommodation services located in the same town of residence of the beneficiary.

In the same way, purchases of wholesale services are not counted, nor are those made under the “payment at destination” modality, nor are the temporary rental of houses, apartments or rooms for domestic use or for housing.

For their part, PAMI retirees will obtain recognition of 70% of the total amount accredited for advance purchases.

The maximum amount of credit that a beneficiary can receive is $70,000 and, once that amount is reached, they will no longer be able to generate credit or benefit again.

The credit coupons will be available for use from the date of provision of the purchased service and until October 31 of this year, and may be used throughout the national territory.

The balance accredited as a benefit is personal and non-transferable, it cannot be withdrawn in cash and can only be used through POS terminals or reading QR codes.

As happened in the case of its predecessor, PreViaje 4 includes a price agreement with the hotel sector, which Lammens signed with representatives of the sector in recent days, while a reference price agreement was reached with travel agencies. trips.

These agreements seek to avoid what happened in the first two editions of the program, when companies took advantage of the increased demand to unload significant increases.

The list has been uploaded to the website www.previaje.gob.ar since the start of the fourth stage.

As anticipated in the case of accommodation, the increases will be between 30 and 40% in relation to the last edition of the program.

For example, in the Partido de la Costa and Mar Chiquita, the cheapest hotels have a ceiling of 8,050 pesos per day and those of 4 stars, 19,483 pesos.

Regarding the interior of the Province, in the area of ​​Tandil, Tornquist and San Pedro the amounts range from 13,091 pesos to 21,992 pesos for the 4 stars.

In the case of the province of Córdoba, the maximum rates for lodging in the departments of San Javier and Calamuchita have a cost of 11,818 pesos, the cheapest, and 44,530 pesos for the highest category.

If the province of Entre Ríos is considered, taking the case of the city of Colón as an example, the prices of the lowest cost hotels start at 12,424 pesos and reach 26,485 pesos in higher category establishments.

In the case of Ushuaia, the hotel offer starts at 12,039 pesos for lower category establishments and reaches 86,033 pesos in 5-star hotels.
