Manchester City are on track to win their third championship in a row. In what may be the decisive duel for the title, Pep Guardiola’s team clearly defeated Arsenal 4-1 (2-0).
Kevin De Bruyne (7th minute, 54th), John Stones and Erling Haaland (90th + 5) scored the goals for the “Citizens”, Rob Holding was only able to score the consolation goal shortly before the end (86th).
The overwhelmed guests remain in the lead with 75 points, but City are two points behind Arsenal and still have two catch-up games to play.

The success of the hosts was no longer in danger after the change of sides. The “Gunners”, whose last championship title was 19 years ago, had no chance at all.

Cup winners FC Liverpool can continue to hope for a place in international business in the coming season.
