When the preschoolers from Stjärnfallet’s preschool picked up trash on the beach, they found a lot that shouldn’t be there.
– We found bowls, glasses and a lot of stuff. It’s not good, it’s a pity for the fishermen, says Ersin, six years old.
“Stop littering”
This week they protested against the littering in a demonstration through central Landskrona.
With placards in their hands and wearing yellow vests, the children marched through central Landskrona and shouted tactfully: Keep Sweden clean, stop littering”.
The CEO of the organization Håll Sverige Rents, Johanna Ragnartz, joined the demonstration together with the children.
The children were sad
– This is part of the Garbage Collector Days campaign that we have around the whole country and which engages hundreds of thousands of children and young people, she says and continues:
– We were out in Landskrona yesterday and picked up rubbish along the water for an hour with the children and they found so much. When we later talked about it, they gained insights and felt sorry for the fish and for nature and the oceans.
