Dance teacher Iris Onnen and her team invited to the performance “The Red Line” on the culture stage

The title “The Red Line” was chosen appropriately for this extraordinary dance evening on the Schruns culture stage. The initiator of the project and also a fellow dancer was Iris Onnen, who organized this evening with former students. It was a mixture of reading and dancing. The readers themselves were responsible for the texts and also for the choreographies of the individual dance pieces.

But they all had a common thread, which probably also served as the namesake. With the simplest means and only one prop, namely the common thread, fantastic dance pieces were created, which repeatedly elicited thunderous applause from the fascinated audience. In individual acts or in various ensembles, the dancers presented their extensive skills and body control. They pulled the spectators on the cultural stage into their spell of feelings, which they were able to express through dance.

But the texts between the sequences also contributed to conjuring up different moods. On the one hand there were various things to smile about, but also to think or pause and reflect, which on the other hand was also shown in the dance that followed. The texts often reflected thoughts from the author’s life, related to concrete experiences or simply to thoughts about them. A harmonious evening in which the common thread was never lost and which the viewers rewarded with a lot of applause at the end.
