The blood is still fresh.” With this statement by Yevgeny Prigozhin begins a macabre video recorded by the mercenary boss. “Film them all!” orders the Wagner leader. And the camera pans across dead bodies. And swings. And swings. Dozens of dead people lie in rows on a field. Prigozhin masters the imagery.
Prigozhin almost screams, “Now listen to me, damn ******. These are someone’s sons and fathers. And these **** who don’t provide us with ammunition are going to meet these men in Hell.” They were 70 percent short of ammo. “Shoigu! Gerasimov! Where is our ammunition?” the Wagner boss shouted at the Minister of Defense and the Commander-in-Chief.
Prigozhin yells: “You sit in your warm, expensive clubs”
According to Prigozhin, Putin’s elite should look at the dead. “You sit in your warm, expensive clubs. Your children enjoy life. You think you are the rulers of life and that you can rule the lives of these men.” The dead behind him went to war as “volunteers” and would now die for Putin’s elite.
Prigozhin has published several videos in which he calls for more ammunition for his mercenary troops. This time he is particularly aggressive. Recently, the Wagner fighters have had some small successes – but their advance has stalled again. And use in the group is considered a meat grinder. Dozens if not hundreds of soldiers die every day.
