The launches of the second week of January on the Prime Video brought interesting titles to the public. Among them is the long The Suicide Squad, Dracula, Aquaman, Call Me By Your Name and the drama The Struggle of a Lifetimewhose story based on real facts thrills to follow the life of Harry Haft, a Jew who had to fight (literally) to survive Auschwitz, one of the cruelest Nazi concentration camps.

The film was directed by Barry Lindson and starred Ben Foster, who had to lose 30 kilos and later gain 25 to bring the character to life. In addition to abusing flashbacks to tell the story, the film mixes black and white and color images to differentiate the two periods of Harry’s life.

Moving from a period drama to a contemporary one, fans of This is Us You can celebrate now, as the sixth — and final — season has just arrived on Prime Video. All episodes are now available on Amazon’s streaming platform.

In order not to leave national productions aside, it is worth giving the feature films a chance. Magal and the Antsfrom 2016, and duet, from 2022, which tells the story of Cora, a young Brazilian woman who travels with her grandmother to Italy after the death of her father. Between dramas and family fights, she tries to walk her way to maturity and adult life.
