Once again, the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) achieves justice for people who have been victims of sexual crimes; this time, Daniel Martínez Osorio was sentenced to 20 years in prison for having raped a minor, in Ahuachapán.

According to the investigation, the subject met the victim in an educational center and in 2020 contacted her by text message and demanded that she go with him or he would harm her family. Out of fear of her, the 14-year-old minor arrived at the place where she had been summoned and he took her to her home to sexually abuse her -and continuously-; the minor managed to escape when the defendant had left home.

Upon returning home, the teenager told her parents everything and they filed the complaint. The authorities proceeded to capture the 23-year-old defendant.

As a result of the abuse, the minor became pregnant.

During the trial, the Prosecutor’s Office presented testimonial, expert and documentary evidence, which supported the accusation for which he was convicted.
