In January, the South Korean lunar probe reached Korea Pathfinder Lunar Orbiter (KPLO) her goal. Even then she sent first impressive pictures to Earth. A few months later, further recordings of the probe with the nickname followed Danuri.
Various lunar craters can be seen: Tsiolkovskiy, Schrödinger, Wichman and Szilard. The photos were taken at an altitude of about 100 kilometers above the lunar surface and look impressive thanks to KPLO’s modern instruments.

First lunar mission in South Crea
Danuri is part of South Korea’s first lunar mission. the probe started on board one “Falcon-9” missile by the private space company SpaceX Elon Musk in August 2022 from the Cape Canaveral spaceport in the US state of Florida.
