Social networks have become the ideal space for people to share what is happening. It is the viral case of a young man who told how to process a military document and when it was delivered to him it had a photo of Cristiano Ronaldo.
All this is demonstrated by data from the report carried out by We Are Social and Hootsuite, in 2022, where it indicated that there are currently 4.620 million network users worldwide, which represents an interannual growth of more than 10 percent.
This user data makes it normal for any type of stories that can become viral to be found in these spaces, due to how peculiar they are.
The history
It was through a video on TikTok that the young man of Colombian origin shared a document similar to the card that is processed in Mexico when he went to get his military card, but he never expected that his document would have a small detail.
The young man, who identifies himself as David GodoyHe shared his bad moment processing said document, since instead of putting a photo of him, they put the photograph of the Portuguese soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo.
After realizing this, the subject decided to report this situation through Twitter and TikTok, so his case went viral.
“An anecdote that has given me a lot of temper, a lot of anger, but also a lot of laughter,” reads the description of the video.
Likewise, the young man shared how in December he participated in the campaign to get the military booklet with discounts in his country.
“I have many doubts if they do it well or not, because nothing comes cheap with this notebook. I participated and it was a complete ordeal because one goes and delivers the folder with all the papers, they supposedly check and then they are calling one of ‘This is wrong, you have to come’, and I always had to go, like this a couple of times ”, he recounted in the recording.
He adds that the document was very expensive and the same day he processed it, he could download it at home, since the card was digital and that was when he noticed the detail.
“I had three months to pay it, I was finally able to pay it almost when the term was up because it was not cheap at all, and when I came home happy to download it, because it is digital, for it to be physical they charge you an additional amount, the I went to download and look what comes out… It turns out that they put the photo of Cristiano Ronaldo in the certificate of my digital notebook”, he asserts.

The video went viral to record thousands of interactions and comments from users who mocked the army’s mistake.
After going viral for sharing his situation on networks, the young man received various messages from the local army, which apologized for the situation and promised to resolve his situation.
“Internally, a review of the procedures carried out on the Military Card will be carried out, which will help to fully identify whether it was an individual conduct on the part of the user, which can generate criminal liability, prior assessment by the competent authority, since these images are considered biometric information,” he added.
It is not the first time that an identification document has gone viral on networks, since there are many videos of people where they show the peculiar stories they have had when processing any of these.
