In his latest study, the prophecy analyzed 18 refrigerator models, 25 television models, and 15 microwave models to find out which appliances consumers should not buy.

In this sense, below are the three household appliances that should be avoided buying, according to Profeco. First of all, of the 18 models of refrigerators analyzed, three obtained the worst rating because they had the lowest energy exchange efficiency. The models are:
- The WHIRLPOOL: WRB311DMBM / Poland / 320-11.3 / 364 kWh
- The WHIRLPOOL: WT4543S / Mexico / 385-13.6 / 408 kWh
- The ACROS: AT135FG / Mexico / 367-13.0 / 401 kWh.
In second place, Profeco analyzed 25 television models to determine which ones have the best image quality and bring the greatest benefits to the consumer. However, there were three TVs that failed the test, including:
- The AOC: 32-inch LE32W164, the Atvio: 32-inch ATV3213LED
- The Speler: 40-inch SP-LED40.
Third, Profeco observed the characteristics of 15 microwave and determined the worst models based on efficiency, defrost capacity and energy consumption. Two of the 15 microwave models did not pass Profeco’s test, receiving the worst rating. These models are:
- The Samsung: AME8113ST
- The Daewoo: KOR-142HMA.
