Times have changed since the launch of the PS5. Sony launched its new PS Plus offerings in response to Xbox Game Pass and one of the subscriber benefits had become obsolete. Sony will purely and simply cut it short.
The new “free” PS Plus Essential games have been made official. Like every month, the surprise had been spoiled by leaks, but it will be a new trio accompanied by a big extension that will be available in February. Sony, however, managed to keep an announcement under the elbow: the end of one of the advantages for subscribers playing on PS5.
PS Plus subscribers will lose a benefit
PS Plus subscribers will once again be served this month. Sony has just confirmed that the excellent OlliOlli World, Mafia Definitive Edition, Evil Dead the Game and the DLC Destiny 2 Beyond Light will all be available for download from February 07, until March 06, 2023 at 11 a.m. French time. An expected announcement which is nevertheless accompanied by more mixed news: the PS Plus will soon have one less advantage. The Japanese firm has indeed confirmed this Wednesday, February 1 that it will soon end the PlayStation Plus Collection.

20 games to collect quickly
A decision that makes sense, since Sony has meanwhile launched its brand new PlayStation Plus now available in three formulas. The collection had then become almost obsolete as the titles offered as part of the PS Plus Extra and Premium were more interesting.
