A chain collision between four vehicles, which were lining up to refuel, ended with an injured pedestrian.

The road accident occurred around 10:30 this Wednesday, at the intersection of San Martín and 1º de Mayo streets.

According to what was reported by police sources, a Motomel 110 cc motorcycle, a Toyota Hilux van, a Volkswagen Gol car and a second Ford Ranger van were lining up to refuel at the service station. However, for reasons that are being investigated, a 42-year-old pedestrian, who was behind the VW Gol, was hit by the Ford truck that was behind.

As a result of the crash, the man was trapped under the private car with injuries to his head and torso to be evaluated. Neighbors passing through the place rescued the injured man. Finally, he was transferred by ambulance to the Samic hospital in Eldorado, where they were evaluating the severity of his injuries. The driver of the motorcycle, a 30-year-old woman, who reported pain in both legs, was also assisted.

Staff from the local police station, Scientific Police, as well as the police doctor and biochemist on duty worked at the site.
