An apartment building in a Manchester, Connecticut building that occurred Sunday night displaced seven adults and four children, authorities said.

Firefighters were called to a structure fire on Oakland Street around 9:40 p.m. after receiving multiple 911 calls.

When fire crews arrived at the two-story, six-apartment building, they found a fire in one of the second-story apartments.

A large fire was found in the apartment and crews ventilated the building by drilling a hole in the roof.

The fire was extinguished in 20 minutes.

According to firefighters, seven adults and four children are now displaced. The Red Cross is helping displaced residents.

No injuries were reported.

The Office of the Fire Marshal is conducting a root cause investigation with the State Fire Marshal and the Manchester Police Department.
