The Ialomiţa police are investigating after a 17-year-old girl arrived at the Emergency Department of the County Hospital in Slobozia, saying that she had been raped. Sources close to the investigation say that the young woman made these accusations after participating in the AUR Summer School organized at Neptun-Olimp starting on September 14.

“On September 16, the Slobozia Police was notified that a 17-year-old minor from the municipality of Slobozia presented herself at the Emergency Department of the Slobozia County Hospital, declaring that she was the victim of a rape crime, committed in Constanța county” , announced IPJ Ialomiţa.
From the first investigations, the criminal investigation police determined that between September 14 and 16, the girl participated in a summer camp organized in Neptun-Olimp.
The young woman also went to the Ialomiţa Forensic Medicine Service, where biological samples were taken.
The investigations are continued under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Slobozia Court, for the crime of rape.
Police sources told News.ro that the girl complained that a day ago she went to Constanța with a delegation composed of members of the AUR party, staying at a hotel. During the night, she consumed alcoholic beverages with several people from the delegation, and when she woke up she would have felt pain in the groin area, noticing that she had traces of blood, claim the cited sources.
The girl said that she does not remember what happened and does not want to give information about the identity of the people with whom she was in the hotel room, the same sources also state.
On Thursday, in Constanţa, the Summer Political School of the AUR began, during which the party’s Youth, Student and Women’s Organizations were launched. Also, on Friday, the work of the National Conference of the party took place.
