Rapper Sean Diddy Combs faces new sexual assault accusation

NEW YORK.- He rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, one of the most successful men in the industry of this genre in the United States, was accused of rape for an alleged vctima, minor at the time of the events, in the fourth complaint of this type of which he is the subject in less than a month.

In the demand civil case filed this Wednesday, December 6 in a federal court in New York, the complainant, whose name has not been revealed, accuses the rapper and other collaborators of having raped her repeatedly in 2003 when she was 17 years old.

The artist and producer, also known as Puff Daddy, met the complainant after his partner Harve Pierre convinced her in Detroit to take a private plane to New York to meet with the rapper.

Before taking the flight, Pierre forced the girl, who was 17 years old at the time, to perform oral sex on him, and once in Combs’ studio, he and several men gave her drugs and alcohol before raping her repeatedly, according to the document.

Her lawyer Douglas Wigdor – who also represented R&B singer Cassie, the first woman to publicly denounce Combs – declared that: “the depravity of these abominable acts has, not surprisingly, scarred our client for life.”

Other complaints against him

This is the fourth lawsuit filed against Combs for rape. All the complainants describe him as a violent man who used his fame to harass and intimidate women.

The first and one of the most popular was that of the singer Cassie, the rapper’s former romantic partner, who resolved amicably two days later.

Protected by a temporary New York law that allows one year to report sex crimes already prescribed, Combs was denounced by Joi Dickerson-Neal, who alleged that she had been drugged, sexually assaulted and abused in 1992 by the rapper, who filmed and broadcast the recording as revenge porn.

Another anonymous complainant accused Combs and his musical collaborator Aaron Hall of raping her.

Combs has vehemently denied all allegations. His lawyer did not immediately respond to an AFP request for comment on the lawsuit on Wednesday.

In recent weeks, another lawsuit from a former assistant accused Pierre of abusing his position at the helm of Combs’ record label, Bad Boy Entertainment, which he reportedly turned a blind eye to.

Combs, 54, founded Bad Boy in 1993 and was a major figure in the commercialization of hip-hop for decades to come. His protégés include Notorious BIG and Mary J. Blige.
