The Ministry of Social Development of the Nation extended the term for the beneficiaries of the Potenciar Trabajo program to validate their identity and thus avoid that they stop receiving it. For the only time, the maturity scheduled for January 6, will be extended until January 15.
The ministry announced that a broad territorial operation will be carried out to contact those who have not yet completed the process, which is a condition for continuing in the program. It includes mobile points to help those who have difficulties with the completion of the procedure.
So far, 1,066,513 people out of 1.3 million holders of the Empower Work have already completed the validation procedure, 79% of the register registered in the last month.
To receive help with validation, people can also go with their cell phone to the Management Unit to which they belong or to the reference center of the Ministry of Social Development closest to their home.
The beneficiaries of the program earn the equivalent of half the minimum wage, so that as of December they receive just under $31,000 per month
How is the procedure performed
To carry out the identity validation process, the recipients of the Empower Work must have the Mi Argentina app installed on their cell phone. Once they log in, they go to the My Collections tab and access a simple three-step question form.
They must first complete or update their personal details. Then, answer questions related to the level of studies achieved, interest in completing levels of study or taking job training courses.
They must also record the productive, community or educational activities that they carry out within the framework of the program and the management units where they are carried out.
