Game news “Real-time game, no loading, the power of the PS5”, the game that will knock out in 2023?

The new generation of consoles is now at cruising speed and the shortage is beginning to fade. With all the technology on board the PS5 and other Xbox Series, gamers are entitled to ask for experiences that send heavy. The developers have understood this well and after games like Horizon Forbidden West and God of War Ragnarök, the PS5 is obviously preparing to welcome a new technological showcase.

During a recent Final Fantasy XVI livestream, Naoki Yoshida, aka Yoshi-P, gave some hints about the progress of the game’s development. With this new episode of Final Fantasy, the PS5 is about to see one of its master-standards tumble on the visual level. According to its producer, the work will thus be a compendium of the capacities of Sony’s machine which, we remind you, will have the privilege of temporary exclusivity (at least for 6 months). Yoshi-P points out that the Final Fantasy XVI trailer is made entirely in real time and promises:

It’s real-time rendering. No loading. It’s become a game that says, “Look at the power of the PS5!”

The website Tweaktown adds that Final Fantasy XVI should benefit, like Forspoken, from compatibility with the DirectStorage feature on PC. Remains to be seen if it will have an aspect other than expeditious loading times. One thing is certain, Square-Enix seems to go all out to ensure that the new FF lives up to expectations visually. We will not complain.

Each new Final Fantasy is an event

closer to theheroic-fantasy than its predecessor, Final Fantasy XVI takes place in the world of Valisthéa. This region is protected by six crystals, called mother crystals, which have the ability to produce ether, an essential source for magic spells. Over the centuries, a nation has been built around each crystal, giving rise to six kingdoms: the Archduchy of Rosalia, the Holy Kingdom of Bloodbrec, the Kingdom of Valoed, the Republic of Dalmequia, the Kingdom of Iron and the Crystal Dominion.

Each kingdom – with the exception of the Crystal Dominion – has its own crystal, but also an Emissary. This Emissary has a unique feature: in his body resides an entity called Primordial of incredible power. A sort of incantation so dear to Final Fantasy, it will be at the heart of the plot. Headed by big names, Final Fantasy XVI promises to be a very promising work that should delight those who succumb to games inspired by the universe of Ivalice.
