In an interview with “t-online”, entrepreneur and “Die Höhle der Löwen” investor Carsten Maschmeyer (63) gives insights into his private life with his wife Veronica Ferres (57) and reveals that the couple maintains a ritual. “Sometimes my wife reads me the texts that she has to learn,” explains the 63-year-old. The actress often asked him if he could listen to her. “Then she gives me the script and the dialogues are colored in two colors. One for her, one for me.”

He doesn’t watch a lot of films himself, preferring to read. “Nevertheless, I try to advise and help her in my rational way,” says the entrepreneur. This includes the organization and appropriate logistics of his wife’s appointments.
Veronica Ferres’ daughter Lilly Krug (21), who is also an actress, stands on her own two feet, but “of course mother and daughter exchange ideas,” says Maschmeyer. “For example, Veronica likes to give Lilly tips for her castings. Or Lilly tells her when she has been asked to audition, and Veronica then advises her on the outfit, for example, or discusses the role and the content with her.”
