Aguas Santafesinas informs the users of the city of Reconquista that a new campaign of preventive maintenance of the quality of the service will begin with works programmed by sectors to optimize the operation of the home distribution network of drinking water.

The tasks consist of the sectorized “purging” of the networks to eliminate obstructions, so that water can be seen coming out of hydrant nozzles in some corners, a situation that is not caused by pipe failures.

The scheduled work, which will take place from 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., will begin next Monday, May 8, and will last for a period of two weeks.

The first week these tasks will include the following sectors:

Monday 8: Independence, Alvear, Constituent and Bv. Yrigoyen.

Mars 9: Cont. Sarmiento, Bv. Spain, Bv. Yrigoyen and Calle 52 (except Industrial Park).

Wednesday 10: Bv. Spain, Calle 75, Fray Rossi and Bv. Yrigoyen.

Thursday 11: Alvear, Bv. Spain, Bv. Constituent and Belgrano.

Friday the 12th: Alvear, bv. Spain, Belgrano and Bv. Yrigoyen.

At each selected point, the devices will be placed to clean the distribution network for a certain period of time in the selected hydrants to release water and then they will be removed and installed in other hydrants in the same sector, depending on the controls carried out in each spot.

During the development of the tasks, a decrease in service pressure could be recorded and, at the end of the tasks, an episode of turbidity could possibly occur.

It should be noted that in case of rain the announced works will be rescheduled.
