From the Municipality of Reconquista in conjunction with the Yacht Club Commissiono Work was done to recover a recreational space close to the nature of the Jaaukanigás, so that the entire community and those who visit us can enjoy an outdoor space and an infrastructure to share with family and friends.
The details, of the sports and recreational activities for the Summer 2023 season, and the inauguration of the beach at the Club Náutico, were announced this Thursday by the President of the Club Náutico Reconquista, Carlos Benítez; accompanied by the Undersecretary of Sports of the municipality, Prof. Javier Machado, the person in charge of the Club’s concession, Andrés Farías; and the Secretary of Culture and Sports, Lic. Lucas Ferro.

Benítez, highlighted the process of valuing the Club that after more than a decade makes it a reality that the city once again has a beach sector for the enjoyment of all who want to spend the day with a view of the river. He recounted that in “2021 we took over with the idea of revaluing an institution in a state of abandonment and without proper papers”, highlighting “the work articulated with the Municipality of Reconquista to regularize the legal situation, thanks to which it was possible to start a works plan for a subsidy of Good Social Practices from the Government of the Province of Santa Fe, which includes barbecue areas, barbecue areas, deck, equipment and lighting.
For his part, he Undersecretary of Sports of the municipality, Prof. Javier Machado announced the sports and recreational activities for the 2023 summer season and stressed that “in Reconquista today we have a club with all the conditions to provide comfort to those who visit it”, clarifying that it will not be temporarily enabled as a spa, also counting on the presence of lifeguard for any eventuality.
In turn, he stressed that athletes with disciplines such as soccer, volleyball and canoeing will begin to join. In addition, the official announced that they are working with enormous expectations since in February the Club Náutico will host the National Triathlon.
Opening
The opening of the summer beach season will be this Sunday, where from 6 pm, with free admissiona sports and recreational day is planned to get to know the club’s facilities.
Finally, the person in charge of the Náutico concession, Andrés Farías, explained that a large number of visitors are expected for the inauguration, who will be able to enjoy the outdoor space with gastronomy service of barbecue, fast food, milanesas, little sticks , meatballs and cubes of surubí.
