“Rote Rosen” started the weekend after January 6th with a nasty surprise: Mathias found the bill for an abortion while looking for Birgit’s health insurance card. So now he realized: Birgit hid her pregnancy from him. And that’s especially important because she’s been telling him that she’s infertile.
And here “Rote Rosen” continues in the only two episodes that air the following week, on January 9th. and on January 10th, because Birgit still has a confession that she has to tell her husband. Birgit admits everything: Her infertility was based on a lie. Mathias is appalled and decides, despite all existing feelings, the final separation. Birgit doesn’t know how to deal with it and flees to Frankfurt. But she still has a confession up her sleeve: she reveals how she made sure 20 years ago that Mathias and Sandra did not find each other again. Their whole marriage is based on a lie.
Mathias is devastated, but also knows that he can now give his love for Sandra more space. But for now he doesn’t want to burden her with the truth and doesn’t tell her yet what he learned from Birgit…
Reconciliation between Sandra and Anette possible?
Anette reports the sprayer attack and realizes more and more that Sandra is missing as a friend. But the fronts are hardened.
