  • The target group are professionals and ambitious home users
  • Cordless and electric tackers with the latest design and lots of added value
  • Main benefits: Ergonomics, speed, precision and durability

Fixing materials quickly and securely is now even easier: Novus Dahle, specialist in fixing and office technology, successfully presented its new range of professional cordless, electric and hand tackers at the BAU 2023 trade fair in Munich. Interested craftsmen and home users were able to test the devices extensively and were enthusiastic about the performance and attention to detail. The new Novus Tools offer a completely revised design, strong and durable technology and numerous helpful features. The cordless tackers in particular, with their top performance in terms of speed and ergonomics, impressed the trade fair visitors.

“Our goal was and is to build the best and most efficient devices on the market. The new tackers are consistently tailored to the needs of professional craftsmen and ambitious home users,” explains Frank Indenkampen, Managing Director of Novus Dahle. “Together with professionals in the trade, we carried out countless tests, which were also scientifically supported. We incorporated this feedback and knowledge into the development.”

The devices from Novus Tools are not only characterized by the fact that they are very easy to hold, are optimally balanced and thus enable pleasant work throughout the day. The housings have been newly developed and provided with an ergonomic handle design, with which you can work for many hours without your hands getting calloused. The slotless design contains no shadow gaps where dirt could collect – this makes working with the devices even more pleasant.

The new housing color, turquoise blue, makes it easier to find on construction sites, while important function keys are still conspicuously red. A stylish design line down the side shows the exact spot where the staple meets material. In addition, each device has a clear colored overview of which clamps should be used. This color classification makes it very easy to choose accessories, for example in the hardware store.

Other highlights are as follows: Depending on the device, the impact force can be adjusted as well as the depth with which the staples penetrate the material. A fuse ensures that stapling can only take place when the device is properly attached. The bottom loading mechanism ensures that the staples can only be inserted after turning the clip over – in a normal position, the staple compartment remains closed so that the staples do not fall out. The distance stop has already proven its worth, with the help of which you can always staple exactly parallel to the respective subsurface.

The clear favorite among visitors to the trade fair stand at the construction fair in Munich and among Novus Dahle’s customers is the new cordless tacker: “The serial firing function is so powerful with up to four tacker processes per second that you can probably tell of the fastest tackers on the market can speak,” explains sales manager Tim Geber.

In addition, the tacker can replace the hammer tacker for fastening foil, for example on or under the roof. “Two big advantages make the cordless tacker a crowd favorite: It works so cleanly, also thanks to the depth setting, that the foil is not damaged. You don’t have to mask off the staples, which saves sealing tape and of course working time.”

The second advantage: the cordless tacker can replace the compressed air tacker. These tackers are still a bit faster, but: “Setting up, including the air hose and compressor, takes longer and the device uses more energy,” states Tim Geber. For the tacker, on the other hand, all you need is the device with the battery and possibly the charger.

With the new cordless, electric and hand tackers, the company based in Lingen, Lower Saxony, is continuing its efforts to achieve maximum sustainability. “Novus Dahle has always stood for a long service life, but we were able to increase it even further by completely redesigning all parts,” promises Joachim Fickers, Head of Product Management. Great importance was also attached to plastic-free packaging. In addition, it did not make sense to produce your own battery system. “We have connected to the CAS system from Metabo because it stands for real professional quality and you can use one battery for a wide variety of devices.”

Longevity means another aspect, explains Tim Geber: “Should a problem really arise, we can offer our own repair service in Germany and abroad together with our partners. Some of our competitors do not guarantee that. Especially with regard to longevity and We definitely see sustainability further ahead.”

Of course, it is not sustainable to throw away a working tacker, says Managing Director Frank Indenkampen. “But if I value innovative features that make my work easier and more pleasant, it will definitely be worth making the switch.” You just saw it at the BAU 2023 in Munich: “People who test our new Novus tools compare them to the competition and are immediately so enthusiastic that they absolutely want to switch.”

Staple guns are among the most popular devices for construction projects of all kinds because they save time and money compared to conventional fastening methods and enable a large number of secure and stable connections. They are easy to use, mostly requiring only one hand and are therefore very practical for use on construction sites, in workshops and at home.
