For now, Microsoft is keeping a low profile when it comes to revealing information about its upcoming games. 2023 is a busy year for the giant, with the major release of Starfieldthe new game from Bethesda, but also red fall, the open-world co-op FPS from Arkane Studios. As it stands, these two titles do not yet have an official release date. However, recent rumors have just mentioned one for Redfall.
If we are to believe the latest information communicated by the insider eXtas1s, at the origin in particular of the leak of Overdose, the still secret software of Hideo Kojima, Redfall would be scheduled for next May 2. A plausible date, while the game has been announced so far for the first half of 2023. And Microsoft may not be long in confirming this first date.

A confirmation during the Developer_Direct?
Obviously, the information is not official and should be taken with a grain of salt for the moment. Nevertheless, Microsoft may well confirm it soon, during the Developer_Direct. The conference organized by the giant will focus on Redfall, but also Forza Motorsport and Minecraft Legends. And this is precisely the best opportunity to unveil a release date for Arkane’s game. Potential response on January 25. As for Starfield, we will have to wait longer since the firm is planning an event entirely devoted to Bethesda’s software in the coming weeks.
