The Redmi Note 12s was finally presented, being a new member of the already full Redmi Note 12 series. specs, look and price.
The Redmi Note 12S has a look that refers to other models in the family, but the similarities with the predecessor Redmi Note 11s are strong. The device has an area painted in black, where inside is the rectangular module with its rear cameras and LED flash. The back cover has a matte finish, and it has all its buttons positioned on the right side, with the fingerprint reader integrated into the power button.
On the front, it has a screen with a centralized hole to store the front camera, with reasonably thin edges around it. The sides are flat, with stereo sound output, P2 connection for headphones and USB Type-C for charging and data transfer.
Technical specifications are compatible with the intermediate category, having a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate.
It maintains the platform of its predecessor, with a MediaTek Helio G96 combined with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, expandable via micro SD. But one difference is the fact that it runs the Android 13 operating system under the MIUI 14 interface out of the box.
The set of cameras consists of three rear sensors, with a main 108 MP, a secondary 8 MP with an ultrawide lens and a tertiary for 2 MP macro content. At the front, the company preferred to adopt a 16 MP camera. Finally, it has a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
price and availability
The Redmi Note 12S is available in Poland through an authorized reseller for 1,499 Polish Zloty, approximately R$ 1,805 in direct conversion and without national taxes. There is no information about its availability in other countries, including Brazil.
