The International Book Fair of Algiers, which brings together thousands of visitors, made its return in 2022, but also the various cultural festivals, like the International Cultural Festival of Symphonic Music, which took place at the Opera of Algiers and which has been enormously popular with the public.
The cinema will have seen two films distinguish themselves at the international level. First of all, the film directed by Djaffer Gacem, “Heliopolis” which represented Algeria at the 2022 Oscars. Then, we will highlight the selection of the film “Al Akhira- the last queen” directed by Damien Ounouri and Adila Bendimerad at the 79th edition of the international film festival, called the “Venice Film Festival”.
