On 10 January, the stage is set for a new season of boats The farm celebrity and Stupid celebrity.
This year, Eli Kari Gjengedal (51), Ingeborg Myhre (47) and Erik Anders Sæter (26) are the starting trio inside Torpet. Everyone has taken part in Farmen celebrity before, and are now hungry for revenge.
Sæter almost made it to the finals week when he participated in 2019. The farmer who chose him as the first champion when he quit, he is now reunited with. It is none other than presenter Tiril Sjåstad Christiansen (27).
– Makes me cook mussels
Sæter points out that there was a good atmosphere between him and Christiansen during the participation in 2019. However, he highlights the choice she made as a large farmer.
– I felt that we were close friends, but friendship was not that important to her on the farm. Winning was the most important thing, so she sent me to duel last week so she could win the Farm. But that’s perfectly fair, he says to TV 2.
Christiansen says that she took part in Farmen kendis to win, which she eventually did. In addition, she explains the background for the choice.
– We were friends, something I was with several people in there. But I felt he was a great competitor and therefore had to send him into battle. I also wanted to ensure Katrine Sørland did not end up in a fight, because she was the person I was closest to in there, says the presenter.
After the participation, they have had almost zero contact – until this year’s season of Torpet celebrity. In the first episode, Sæter receives his first assignment through a letter. He will cook dinner.
– Tiril chose me as the first champion in the last week of Farmen, which led to my quitting, he says in the episode that comes on Tuesday – and adds:
– Now she makes me cook mussels!
Good memory
Sæter says today that it was good to be in this situation.
– She is a professional and has a job, and I am a professional and have a job. We have no bad blood between us, apart from the fact that I am a terrible loser, of course, and have a good memory, says the 26-year-old.
Christiansen also tells TV 2 that the atmosphere between them is good.
