The time has come for fans of beauty pageants, after the Miss Universe Organization announced the date on which the most prestigious pageant in the world will be held.
The 72nd edition of Miss Universe will take place on Saturday, November 18, in El Salvador, a destination that had been announced by the country’s president, Nayib Bukele, through a video of the last contest.
“I feel very honored to announce that El Salvador is the official host country of the next Miss Universe competition to be held later this year,” said the Salvadoran president.
“El Salvador is a country full of beauty, it has the best beaches for surfing, imposing volcanoes, exquisite coffee, and now it has become the safest country in Latin America,” he said.
Likewise, Bukele invited the fans of the contest in what he described as a “historical process.” “El Salvador is changing and we want them to come experience it,” he said.
Last Saturday, January 14, the representative of the United States R’Bonney Nola was crowned as the most beautiful woman in the universe and since then she has worked as an ambassador for the organization at an international level.
She managed to stand out in the round of questions and that was what established her as the queen.
Now, 90 women from different parts of the world will seek to be the successor to the Filipino American in a tough competition.
“COME ON!!! The 72nd MISS UNIVERSE Competition will be broadcast around the world on November 18, 2023 from El Salvador”, the organization published through a video with images of the Central American country.
“Stay tuned for more information on the official Miss Universe app,” the organization urged.
