The new arch of Dragon Ball Super started on December 20. The new adventures will star Goten and Trunks, who serve as superheroes trying to eliminate crime in the Western Capital.
Precisely the name of the arc coincides with that of the recent movie of the franchise, Super Hero. And it shows the pair of young Saiyans fighting for justice in costumes similar to the ones Gohan wore in the last arc of Dragon Ball Z.
All these details were revealed before the premiere of the episode of the manga, since in the images of the advances Goten and Trunks appeared with the suits and the bracelets with which these clothes are activated that protect the identity of the two members of the Warriors. Z.
They didn’t try very hard for the name. In the same episode it is revealed that both are called Saiyaman 1, in the case of Trunks and Saiyaman 2, by Goten. It is a tribute to Gohan’s Great Saiyaman, after this alter ego was so criticized by current users when they were children.
In their appearances, the same young people have a choreography similar to Fusion, but it reminds us much more of the Ginyu Special Forces.
Dragon Ball Super: Who are the new characters in the franchise?
To anyone who has read the episode, it might seem like just characters we’ll never meet. And while they will certainly be fillers, they are Dragon Ball canon and will be part of Trunks’ group of schoolmates.
In fact, the three new members of the Dragon Ball family were taken into account for the cover of the manga. Right next to Trunks and below Mai are two boys and a girl, who have already exchanged dialogue with Bulma and Vegeta’s son.
We still don’t know their names, but the fact that they appear in the presentation and the first episode already tells us a lot.
