A Netflix announced that it plans to invest 2.5 billion dollars (2.26 billion euros) in content from South Korea, which concerns an increased commitment by the company not only to films, but also to series and reality shows.

This investment will be made over the next four years and is twice as much as Netflix has invested in South Korean content since 2016. One of the CEOs of Netflix, Ted Sarandos, said in this ad that has “great confidence that the Korean creative industry will continue to tell great stories”.

It should be remembered that in addition to all the k-dramas (South Korean dramas) available on Netflix, series like ‘Squid Game’, ‘The Glory’ and the reality shows ‘Physical: 100’ and ‘Single’s Inferno’ have also been talked about.
