Julian Rijkhoff used his first two years at Borussia Dortmund to recommend himself for a new contract. As announced by BVB, the 18-year-old center forward has extended his working papers in the long term.
The Dutch junior international switched from Ajax Amsterdam to Dortmund in January 2021. In 54 appearances for the U19s so far, Rijkhoff has scored 42 goals and set up nine goals.

NLZ manager Lars Ricken praises: “Julian has developed very positively in our youth academy and is an integral part of the Dutch U18 national team. We’re happy to still have a centre-forward in the squad who scores goals consistently and has excellent prospects.”
Rijkhoff is “Proud that I was able to sign a long-term contract with BVB. I can feel the trust of those responsible and will now continue to work on my dream of being able to play for Borussia Dortmund’s professionals at some point.”
