High time to take an extra look in the closet for old (preferably sealed) video cassettes. The first three Rocky films were actually sold out auction for over half a million kroner, given that they were sealed and in top condition. Specifically, it was Rocky, Rocky II, and Rocky III in slipcase editions, something that is apparently extremely rare and thus the bids for the auction to soar. This is also not the first time that old sealed video cassettes have sold for huge sums. As recently as last year, a copy of Back to the Future was going for SEK 750,000 and video collectors around the world have seen their collections increase significantly in value in recent years as interest in the nostalgic hobby has soared.
