Rodrigo Prieto wants to collaborate in the first film that Taylor Swift will direct

the mexican filmmaker Rodrigo Prietowho has just filmed the adaptation of Pedro Páramo, holds in the highest esteem Taylor Swift.

He even said in an interview with The Wrap that he would be interested in photographing the American singer’s debut, with whom he has already collaborated on music videos.

“She’s someone who didn’t grow up as a director. She is a musician and a singer, and wonderful at it. You can see that she understands film and storytelling, and how to tell the story on camera. She is great also in technical aspects”.

“He is a person I admire a lot. If I had the opportunity to work with her, I would be delighted.”said the Oscar nominee.

Prieto has been in charge of the image and light in various videos directed by Swift, such as “Cardigan”, “Willow” and “The Man”.

Swift’s film concerns have grown over the years, and as recently as 2022 the star had her short film “All Too Well” vying for an Oscar nomination.

Last December it was announced that she would direct her first feature film, with a secret script written by herself..

“I know about that project. I don’t know the status now, because I’ve been with my movie, but we’ve talked about it, and I don’t know if it’s me or someone else. But I think she’s great,” Prieto said.
