Britain’s Royal Mail has unveiled its design for the new stamps featuring the face of King Charles III. presented. The new stamps are set to go on sale from April 4, the British Post announced today.

When it came to design, the king opted for continuity. Ever since “Penny Black” – the first postage stamp worldwide in 1840 with Queen Victoria – the monarchs on British postage stamps have always been seen from the left in profile.
