From January 22, 2023, RTL+ and Super RTL will show the new Sesame Workshop series “Krümelmonsters Foodie Truck mit Steffen Henssler”. You can guess it from the title: The protagonists are the cookie monster known from Sesame Street and the TV chef Steffen Henssler. Gonger, a puppet appearing on German television for the first time, also guides through the show.
All 13 episodes of the series will be available on RTL+ from January 22nd. Super RTL will then include the show in its program from February 5, 2022. From the following week, the linear channel will always show a new episode on Saturdays and Sundays at 8 a.m. The plot is suitable for children: Chef Gonger is interested in everything to do with nutrition: And expert Steffen shares his knowledge of food and how to prepare it with Gonger, the cookie monster, and the viewers.
The corresponding dishes are then explained and prepared directly in the program. The “Foodie Truck” trio is reinforced at the stove in each episode by a prominent guest. Cookie Monster, Gonger and Steffen, among others, welcome national soccer player Alexandra Popp, moderator Laura Wontorra, the band Deine Freund and Ernie and Bert.
