After setting the release date of the Season on PC, PS4 and PlayStation 5, the Scavengers studios are back on the road to immerse us in the dreamlike atmospheres of their adventure by offering us a Story Trailer full of details on the secondary characters to meet and, obviously, on the environments to explore.
The title, we recall, transports users to an alternative version of the twentieth century to make them take a long journey through the idyllic and decadent scenarios of a rural civilization stuck to the technology of the 70swith completely new countries and cultures.
It will be precisely the curiosity for these unknown cultures that will push our alter-ego, the Traveller, to visit the villages of this placid interactive universe by getting on her bike to take pictures of the most evocative settings and collect the testimonies of the locals.
As for the gameplay, the developers of Scavengers have described Season as a cross between Journey and Zelda BOTW. The purpose of the adventure will be to approach the story with a philosophical point of view among the fantastical elements and ’emotional realism’ which will permeate every action of our alter-ego. Season A Letter to the Future is slated to launch in the near future January 31st on PC, PS4 and PlayStation 5.
