Earlier this week, we reported that a video of an unannounced third-person action game developed for Sony had leaked online. It was an early code, though Reset– the detectives have still managed to extract some information from it.
It turns out that the video has the word “RED” in the lower right corner, and this was enough to figure out that it is probably People Can Fly making the game for Playstation. The studio said two years ago that they were working on something specifically codenamed RED, and with that in mind, there’s a lot that fits. Besides the codename, it’s also a third-person sci-fi action game, which is something the studio has a lot of experience with (Gears of War: Judgment, Outriders) and the early version in the video fits well with the stage the adventure should be in two years after codename revealed.
However, it is only a rumor and speculation, albeit reasonably credible ones. Hopefully an announcement isn’t too far off.
