With Resident Evil 2 and 3 Remake, Capcom has proven how to both do and not do a remake. For the second, they showed how things could be changed and totally modernized for the better; the third in turn received the same treatment but was also extremely criticized for its hackneyed content.

For the upcoming remake of the four (release March 24th), Capcom has already stated that they took the criticism to heart and did not shorten anything at all, but also that, for example, there will not be nearly as many Quick Time Events.

Now the insider “AestheticGamer aka Dusk Golem” has taken to Twitter to further dilute the rumors surrounding the relationship to the original and the amount of changes and reimaginings. While he claims that the remake will stay close to the source material, we can perhaps hope that according to the statement “major reinterpretations” will remedy more criticized parts of Leon’s adventure. Hopefully it is “that place” towards the end, which Capcom has already confirmed will be included, that is being referred to!

What parts do you hope have been changed/reinterpreted?
