Recently, developer Rocksteady confirmed what journalist Jeff Grubb has been saying for weeks, namely that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is being delayed until the new year following criticism of the gameplay demo shown during the last major Sony stream. Instead of the planned May launch, it is now February 2024 that applies.

So what should they change during that time? Windows Central editor Jez Corden now claims that one of the reasons for the delay is for the studio to remove or change the requirement for an internet connection when playing alone.

However, it seems that we should not hope for other, bigger things. Grubb has previously said that it will remain a looter shooter built around co-op, and that these nine months are not enough to change the fundamental elements of the title.
