In October 2020, Apple presented its new range of iPhones, with the iPhone 12 and its “little brother”, the iPhone 12 mini. The iPhone 12 mini is almost identical to the iPhone 12, but with a more affordable price. While the iPhone 12 is still listed for sale on Apple’s official website, the iPhone 12 mini is harder to find. This smartphone is however offered on reseller sites such as Rakuten.
With the winter sales setting in, it is even possible to order the iPhone 12 mini on sale. Rakuten displays it at only 533.68 euros thanks to a 34% discount.

The iPhone 12 mini offered at a bargain price on Rakuten is in black color and offers a storage capacity of 64 GB. It has a 5.4-inch Super Retina XDR screen, with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The screen offers True Tone technology for eye comfort. Like many iPhones, the iPhone 12 mini has an IP68 protection rating, making it resistant to splashes, water (up to 6 meters deep for 30 minutes) and dust. It embeds the A14 Bionic chip with 16-core Neural Engine. The iPhone 12 mini offers a dual 12-megapixel camera with a wide-angle sensor and an ultra-wide-angle sensor. For selfies and FaceTime calls, a 12-megapixel TrueDepth camera is available on the front. Its autonomy is quite long, up to 15 hours in video playback. For a limited time, the iPhone 12 mini is sold at only 533.68 euros on Rakuten.
