Apparently, redfallthe exclusive for Xbox and PC of Arkane Studios Austin from Bethesda, has been delayed once again, according to recent rumors. A delay like this is almost never good news for those who have been waiting for the game, but for your part, the supposed delay will be short, as it is said to only be around six weeks, so the game would be out in sometime in early May 2023.
The news of this delay comes from Okami Games, the Twitter user who previously provided what he said was an exclusive release window for when the game was intended to be available. That was back in October, but now, Okami Games says they’ve heard the game was delayed internally by “about 6 weeks.”
So far, neither Xbox nor Arkane have said anything about it, given that the game does not have a public release date at this time. Many expected it to get a release date in The Game Awardsbut since Xbox was practically not shown during the event, it still lacks a release date.
If it is indeed delayed, it’s not like anyone would know given that a release date was never set, but it wouldn’t be the first time this has happened. The game was previously delayed whenever Bethesda shared an announcement about Redfall and its other long-awaited game, Starfield, which confirmed that both games had been delayed.
“We have made the decision to delay the releases of Redfall and Starfield until the first half of 2023,” the previous announcement read. “The teams at Arkane Austin (Redfall) and Bethesda Game Studios (Starfield) have incredible ambitions for their games, and we want to make sure you receive the best and most polished versions of them.”
Redfall is scheduled to come out sometime in the first half of 2023, but doesn’t have a confirmed release date yet.
