Research by several Scandinavian media is now revealing a previously unknown side of the espionage: Russian ships are apparently patrolling the North and Baltic Seas, targeting Europe’s energy network.
But not only the critical infrastructure should be observed by the Kremlin’s spies, military installations are also located along the routes of the secret boats.
