We don’t yet know how Deadpool 3 will introduce Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, as the character – SPOILER – died at the end of Logan. But one thing seems certain; it won’t be the version of the character we remember.
In an interview with ET Canada Ryan Reynolds says they intend to approach the character from a slightly different angle in the upcoming film:
“I think he was ready. I think he was excited. What we pitched him was enough of a divergence from the character that he knows and the character that he’s left behind that it gives him something completely new to play and something that he’s really excited to do.”
As expected, Deadpool 3 will be the most expensive film in the series so far and is also the first MCU film to receive an R rating. It will be released in theaters on November 8, 2024.
