Keke Topp can currently show himself to the Schalke 04 pros. As the Knappen officially confirm, the U19 striker is currently taking part in training sessions for the Bundesliga team. The Royal Blues need a replacement for Sebastian Polter (31), for whom the season ended prematurely with a cruciate ligament tear.

Schalke coach Thomas Reis had already explained at the weekend how he plans with the 18-year-old. “You have to do everything carefully. We want to look at him. If we think that he adapts quickly and can help us, then that would be nice.”says Reis, who affirms: “We can’t throw the boy in as a savior now, even though he hasn’t had any training. We shouldn’t put too much pressure on him.”
