In the final the match is rather fragmented but is carried out without particular worries by the thirty-two-year-old referee from Lombardy. Before yesterday’s match, with him only one precedent so far for the Piedmontese team: another draw (this time 2-2 with controversy over Singo’s expulsion decreed after VAR consultation) on 2 December 2021.
