Samsung releases confidential information to ChatGPT
Apparently, Samsung employees leaked confidential information three times. The first time, when an employee noticed a problem in running a database download program, and therefore decided to copy the entire source code into ChatGPT in the hope of finding a solution.
The second time came when another employee, who wanted to fine-tune his code, decided to let the AI know all the information it needed to help. The very last time was when a third company employee sent the transcript of a meeting audio recording to ChatGPT and asked the tool to create a presentation from that recording.
Samsung has therefore decided to limit download capacities in ChatGPT to 1024 bytes per person and is investigating the employees involved in the leak.

The company quickly took action in an effort to prevent further such errors. It intends to design its own AI chatbot for internal use only by prohibiting its employees from using ChatGPT.
