Later at a press conference, Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino turned off the alarms and assured that the world champion is ready to face the duel on Tuesday.
Martino assured: “I was in a part of the training. I didn’t see what happened. But I imagine that if it had been something serious, they would all be scandalized. So I think nothing happened.”.
And about the confrontation he commented: “The team has its shape, it has its ideas. He was a finalist last year. He had more or less controlled the game and ended up losing. The local team always makes them stronger, but we have the aspirations of being able to reach the final”.
Messi will release boots
For training this Monday Messi wore his brand new boots to introduce them to society. They were designed by the German brand that has seen it since 2007 and will do so until 2030 after renewing the contract at the beginning of the year and has several striking details.
The Argentine star stopped using the white, black and green shoes with which he had shone in his first games in the United States and now wears one with albiceleste stripes like the jersey of the Qatar champion team, silver tones and also a specially created logo for him.
