Doesn’t Sea of Stars tell you much? Maybe not the developer Sabotage Studio either? But maybe you remember The Messenger, the game that took home the full pot in our British colleague’s review. Sea of Stars is a prologue to the said ninja game, and the genre is now top down RPG. In addition to pristine graphics, the game also boasts music by none other than Yasunori Mitsuda, the composer behind, among other things, the Chrono Trigger music.
Since Sea of Stars tenfold the goal at the kick start just over two years ago, expectations have naturally been sky high for what Sabotage Studio can conceivably cook up, but after the original release date in the fall of 2022 was postponed to 2023, many have wondered what we actually had to wait for. Now the release window has narrowed somewhat anyway; it is the summer of 2023, and the formats are Ps4, Ps5, Switch and PC.
