HOUSTON – Investigators with the Houston Police Department are asking for the community’s help in identifying possible victims of a man suspected of committing at least three sexual assaults in the city.
The suspect, Yufoth Williams, was recently arrested, but authorities believe there may be other victims.
The three victims identified so far are African-American women between the ages of 25 and 30.
The victims were contacted by the suspect through social media. For this reason, the sexual crimes division urged the community to verify the identity of the people with whom some type of contact is established through the Internet prior to any in-person encounter.
For this reason, the community is being ordered to report the man if someone has been sexually abused by him.
At the moment it is unknown if the suspect committed the abuse against the elderly or minors.
